Wayang boleh mengawal otak manusia! 
Movies really can control our brains! 

The director once said regarding his film Psycho: 

I don’t care about the subject matter; I don’t care about the acting; but I do care about the pieces of film and the photography and the soundtrack and all of the technical ingredients that made the audience scream.

 

At first glance, the information in this video seemed rather innocuous - maybe it was the playful way it was packaged. (Gasp!) But, when you start to think about film scientifically and historically, these ideas aren't anything incredibly new. We've all experienced the effects of a film geared to produce a certain reaction from us, like commercials that shrewdly try to pull at our credit cards by pulling at our heartstrings (I'm talking about you, Sarah McLachlan) - and on a larger, potentially disastrous scale, political/social/etc. propaganda, like the Nazi films of WWII. 

However, this information can not only educate us as viewers on how film affects our brains, but it can also give us new tools as filmmakers to make our films more effective and successful on more than an aesthetic or narrative level - imagine success on a neurological level. If you think of it that way, perhaps paranoia can take a back seat to the excitement of exploring a new area of filmmaking that you may not have ever known was there. 

Of course, if movies can control our brains, then that means movies can be used to control our brains. Sure, ponder that awhile (hurry, while you still can!), but also ponder the incredible vastness and the odd predictability of our human intellect -- intricate and unique minds full of biological neural networks bustling with synapses and dendrites that all seem to agree unanimously that there's nothing like experiencing a good story.

Rajuk Raya - 2013

Hari Raya 2013

Sinopsis : Suami merajuk kerana isterinya tidak mahu mengikut beliau bercuti hari raya di rumah ibunya. Isteri sedar bahawa beliau sudah tidak punya apa-apa lagi dan akhirnya menurut kemahuan suami.
Moral : Walaupun kita tidak sepakat, tetapi kita mesti berjalan sehaluan demi membina masa depan.

Video ini adalah kerjasama dengan Pusat Khidmat Komuniti DUN Sg Panjang, di mana ADUN Sg Panjang, YB Budiman Mohd Zohdi ingin mencari satu kelainan mengucapkan selamat hari raya kepada pengundi beliau.

Do you know why this blog has no updates since it's last updates ?

Here's the reason :

1. A Corporate & Promo video of a university in Kuching from May to July 2012.  We shot entire video using DSLR, Canon 5D Mark II, and took us more than 2 weeks to shoot entire university.  (LIKE our facebook page to view the photo).

2. Survey Video from August to September 2012.  We have to travel from Johor to Kelantan to Perlis and then to Sarawak & Sabah just to video record our 20 respondents from each state.  (What topic? Let it be a SECRET).

3. We also just did a TVC for a bank.  We will post the video sample here after clearance from agency and clients.

We also would like to start our film project !! (this is the part where you should say ... "whooaaa" !!)

Transformasi Belia

Ini adalah video promo tentang Program Komuniti Belia Jom Berubah yang sempat kami terbitkan.

Program Komuniti Belia Jom Berubah

1. Pada 22 Oktober 2011 (selepas 2 hari menyambut hari kelahiran yang ke 40 - eh, muda lagi rupanya), Info Planet Studio telah berkesempatan untuk menjalankan kerja-kerja penggambaran video untuk Program Komuniti Belia Jom Berubah di IKBN Kuala Langat.

2. Program tersebut telah berjaya dilaksanakan dengan cemerlang oleh tiga orang trainer (apa perkataan yang sesuai untuk trainer dalam Bahasa Malaysia ? Jurulatih ?), iaitu Sdr Budiman Mohd Zohdi, Sdr Akmal Zaman bin Abu dan Sdr Megat Zainurul Anuar bin Megat Johari. Lihat biodata mereka di sini.

1. On the 22th September 2011, we have been given the responsibilities to video and photo shoot an event in Gurun.

2. These are our professional photographers on that day. Look at how they do their work with passion and full of dedication. (and they always want to be featured in my frame... hehehe)

3. I still remember what my ex-boss told me.. "when you are good, there is always a room for you.." (err.. room for improvements, maybe ??)

4. Thank you photographers' team led by Suhaimi (the one who is walking on air) and all videographers - Jeffri, Azam, Anas (cum sound recordist) and Yau.

5. And please bear in mind that there will be more jobs coming when we are good enough !

Activities

1.  22 September 2011 - video and photo coverage shoot for Majlis Jamuan Aidilfitri Naza Automotive Manufacturing in Gurun.  We sent 5 videographers and 7 photographers to capture the whole event. Read more.

2. 26 September 2011 - corporate video shoot for ECM Libra Investment Bank (World Comm.)

3.  For some people, after event ended, they are relief and have a piece of mind but not videographer and photographer.  We still need to spend at least 1 or 2 weeks to preview and edit the footages or photographs, so that our clients will be pleased when they watch the video or photo. 

4. That's the life of videographer and photographer.

Pujian dan Kritikan

Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada anda yang telah memberikan komen, kritikan atau pun pujian terhadap Iklan Raya Merdeka PNB 2011.  Sesungguhnya, kami amat bersyukur kerana diberi kepercayaan oleh klien dan juga dengan izin dan pertolongan Allah s.w.t.  Tanpa itu semua, mustahil kami dapat menghasilkan TVC tersebut.

Photo Shoot

1. Ketika proses pos produksi, pihak klien mahukan kami membuat sesi photo untuk talent yang terlibat.

 2. Tiada pilihan lain, kami akur dan mengatur semula segalanya - dari talent, lokasi, props dan sebagainya.

 3. Lebih 1000 keping gambar berjaya dirakam menggunakan Canon 5D Mark II dan raw files telah diserahkan kepada klien keesokan harinya, iaitu 22 Ogos 2011 bersamaan dengan penyerahan beta digital.

 

 4. Demikianlah antara projek yang dikendalikan oleh kami sepanjang Ramadhan tahun ini. Alhamdulillah.

Pos Produksi TVC

1. Selesai kerja penggambaran, masuk pulak proses suntingan.  Phew !!

2. 17 Ogos 2011, hari Rabu adalah hari serahan draf pertama. Hari sebelumnya, proses mengadun audio dan muzik telah dilakukan di Videoquip di Seksyen 17 Petaling Jaya.  Pihak agensi juga telah memohon copyright untuk setiap lagu yang dimainkan di dalam TVC tersebut.  Disebabkan TVC ini adalah kepunyaan sebuah badan organisasi yang besar dan dikenali ramai, maka kesemua proses ini harus dilakukan jika tidak mahu sebarang masalah di kemudian hari.

3. Pada masa yang sama juga, pihak agensi terpaksa mendapatkan kelulusan RTM, Finas, MIM dan sebagainya sebelum TVC ini ditayangkan di RTM, ASTRO dan TV3.  Maka terpaksalah kami berkejaran ke sana ke mari untuk menyiapkan apa yang wajib.

4. Allah swt benar-benar telah membantu kami sepanjang proses ini, kerana apabila TVC ini ditayangkan kepada orang pertama, beliau amat suka.  Maka, kami tidak perlu untuk membuat sebarang pindaan.  Mungkin juga disebabkan masa yang terlalu suntuk, membuatkan kami juga tidak sanggup untuk menukar itu dan ini.  Alhamdulillah.

5. Beta digital akhirnya diserahkan kepada agensi pada 22 Ogos 2011. Dan harapan kami agar anda akan menyukai TVC ini.
